Damn... talk about forgetting a long lost essential. Well I'm back now, and a lot has happened since I last logged in. Sorry for the delay, I know the few who actually read this are wondering what I've been up to =P I'm gonna make this one short since I need to get to bed. The next one will definately be waaaayyy long. So in May we had prom... that's what's sticking out in my head for the time being. IT WAS GREAT =D A time I will never forget. Good times with friends can never be wrong. So here's a synopsis of the night. 4pm took shower and started prepping. I ended up being a little late (SORRY) but when I got to David's house at 5pm everything started to sail nice a smoothly. We took lotsa pictures with parents and such then we went off and luckily, the limo driver let us fit all 11 people into the 10 person limo. yay for that. From there we drove to the Columbia Tower at about 5:30 to meet dinner reservations at 6. They let us in early and we hung out and ate until about 8:30. After that we went driving around capital hill for the heck of it and so that we would be a little late for the dance. We got to the dance around 9:20ish and it was filling up pretty fast when we got there. Darn pictures took soo much time... roughly an hour and a half was waiting for pictures alone... Very dissappointing because this dance was actually very good. There was a good DJ and the dance area at EMP is quite nice. There were spot lights and a cool spectrum thing that you see on the equalizer on some computer players like WinAmp. Yes... food wasn't that great but that's ok. Music was current and selection was alrite. Some random songs but nothing that really made people want to leave. Unfortunately, prom dance came to an end at 12 and we were shooed out by teachers and such. Afterwards we took the limo for a ride since we had an extra hour to alki beach. We just drove around for a little while and ended up at David's house again at 1am to change and such. We then went to Poon's for the rest of the night for karaoke and FUN~~~!!! Well it was... kind of...until people started to have to leave. Mine and David's dates had to leave around 2:30am so we drove them home. Afterwards, the night died down really fast, because people were tired and without everyone else it seemed a little sullen. It kind of sounds really sad, but in a way it was. We had planned a sleep over but that didn't pull through unfortunately. The rest of us ended up going home around 3:30am. Sorry to make it sound like a sad ending, but it was really fun and great while it lasted. I wouldn't have traded that night away for anything else. Time to go.... I'll make another update tomorrow night or something.
