Aye, winter quarter is kicking my ass grade wise >_< Math is getting tough and torturous. Chem is just plain hard. The first midterm was a monster... Soc, I didn't expect to be hard, but the first test kicked my ass as well u_u;; I've got to figure this stuff out. Anyway, so 3 day weekend. Played bball as usual on Friday night and for once, we had less people, at least to start with. It was much nicer having less people so we could play full court and play more. That night we had roughly 18 people so it was a very nice number. Saturday; worked 3-8 and watched the first episode of Naruto. This anime is the bomb!! It's sooo funny. I got sucked in after watching the first episode. I just watched 2 and 3 and they're great. I highly recommend. The skinny so far:: It's about this kid Naruto, who's in a Ninja school training to become a great ninja. He is kind of the runt of the crowd and a trouble maker, as of now at least, and he matures as a person over time. I haven't heard too much about this series except that it's great. Now if only it didn't take so darn long to dl the episodes for me >_<; Moving on the Sunday; Family road trip to Canada. Pretty much same as usual trip, although it fell short. Well, we went up and had dim sum at the restaurant Fisherman's Terrace. That is my parent's favorite restaurant to have dim sum at. Then we went to the Bay mall in Richmond and I got some clothes. Pair of jeans and another Groggy jacket XD good stuff. Although I was very dismayed to find that my fashion is starting to spread >_< I saw a bunch of other guys wearing similar style clothing as me with groggy jackets >_<;; BLAARggghh that style is mine!!! >{ *sigh* I just don't like it when other people wear the same thing as me =/ I dont' really like to shop at the mass-produced-chain-stores like GAP and Old Navy. I guess I'll admit to having a GAP fleece and mebbe some other stuff, but only b/c it was a good value. I'm just glad that no one down here is wearing my style =X ok, that was a random tantrum... I'll live. Another thing, I didn't get to make my regular trip to a VCD store to buy some of the newer HK movies >_< man, I've read up on new movies and I wanted to get some but we didn't even step into one. I'm fall behind on that stuff =/ Instead of that, my parents decided to look at a friend's newly aquired apartment over in Vancouver downtown area. u_u;; It was interesting, but nothing that needed an hour long to see... Dinner was nice... well, hrmm, so we went to a Kirin in downtown; it's a nice Chinese restaurant; and the food was great, albeit really really expensive... Another thing was that the food came really late... We had sat down for like 40minutes before we asked the waiter why our food hadn't come. He replied that he thought we wanted our soup first which takes a long long long....time to make. I guess it was a somewhat legit reason, but someone should have told us that the soup takes an hour long to make @_@!!! It was good soup though. Fish soup, but not fishy in taste, very delicious. Another notable dish was this sweet-sour-salty fried chicken. I think they used a sweet soy sauce with some vinegar. Uhhh, yea, Dou Miu (a green leafy vegetable with thin, crunchy stalks) is probably my favorite veggie. Ok, I need to go back to my hw >_<
