So some interesting stuff has happened this week I guess. First I'd like to talk about a few more things about my trip in Oregon. (I'm going to talk about random car stuff so if you're not interested, skip ahead) This is a theory of mine, yet to be proven for reasons I'll state later. So call me crazy, but I think climate has to do with driving behavior. This may seem obvious to some people and some cases, but I think it works on a very bigger scale (that being the world). I've been down south to Cali as well to NY and HK. The driving habits of those here and those further south are varied by far. Cali drivers, drive much much more faster than they do up here and are also a bit more daring, if I may say so. I guess the heat just makes them hot head in cars =X But what brought me to this, was that as I drove further south into Oregon, I also noticed that people there were driving much faster as well... Maybe it was that there wasn't as much weaving traffic, so people just like to tailgate someone driving fast and then pass them when they feel you're not going fast anymore. See, even though one may say that traffic in those areas you've just listed are very bad, Seattle is ranked as the third worst traffic area in the US. So do you really think traffic has that much to do with driving habits? It's probably a factor in some areas. I have yet to visit more areas with different climates to gather more info. I was in Mexico, but the cars there are a pretty sad sight anyway along with what appeared to be chaotic traffic, just didn't seem like a proper place to gather intel. O well, enuf rambling on this topic...
So I forgot what else I wanted to talk about in Oregon; so now it's on to PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN~!!! Yes it was good enough for me to capitalize it and put 3, yes count em 3, exclamation points after. Even for a disney movie, this surpassed my initial expectations by far and impressed me with it's inticing plot and beautiful shots. (I want to take a trip to one of those islands... XD) First things first... Johnny Depp is my hero. Or should I say, Jack Sparrow is the SH*T. It amazes me how a drunkard that can't even walk w/o shifting his waist, can be so mentally keen. The action, however, was a little sub-par for my dream movie, but this is a disney movie and I can't complain with what was put in it. Let alone already being rated PG-13. I thought the movie was also funny, Capt. Jack Sparrow yet again. If you didn't get the point, he's the SH*T. O, but I did miss one critical factor... The girl, Keira Knightly, is also hella attractive >_< O geez, I can't believe she's like only 18-19 now... Damn fine. You are blind if you didn't notice her in the movie... Finally, since his role was supposed to be significant, I guess I'll say a word or two on Orlando Bloom. He played his character well, but I and no feelings at all except, man this kid is a hassle. He's arrogant, honest down to the bone (not in the best way...), and obsessed with Keira like crazy. Then again I would be to if I were near her. So my recommendation...? SEE IT NOW BEFORE IT'S GONE. It's already been like 4-5 weeks since it was released so see it before it's out >_< Totally worth the price. I would rate this a 9.5 / 10 Minor details that would only probably bother me. But in general I think most people would enjoy this film. I'm so going to buy this DVD XD
So up til yesterday, things were going alrite, seeing Pirates with my friend was great. Hanging out with all my buds was good. But I've run into a couple... how should I phrase this...debris in the road that could cause a lot more problems... A few events have made me think about myself and my flaws... (I know all of you will make jokes but this is the reality) Somethings that bother me a little too much, whether I'm making good decisions, if I can make it later on in everything I do. I know some of these things seem general, but when's the last time you sat down and thought about what you've done? Probably not, b/c you haven't run into any problems that would even require a second thought. I pray that I am blowing this up too much and I will make it through smoothly with a satisfying resolution to my worries and restlessness. College is right around the corner and I need to enjoy this summer before it's gone...
