Good Eats

So I went to Buca di Beppo for the first time tonite with the family. Very good eats. I know I'm probably like 10 years behind everyone else who has probably already gone there and sound like a broken record by saying that this is a great family restaurant. For those that don't know, they serve up great/classic/tasty Italian dishes, family style. (this means huge plates of stuff that you share with everyone) What's most intriguing about the restaurant though, would have to be the decor. The small home/exotic style is very unique and definately makes for some interesting dinner conversation starters. The many pictures that cover all the walls could even be turned into a game... somehow. I dunno how, but if you go, make up one. =P Next time I go, I'd like to go with a group of friends because it's a very comfortable atmosphere that's complimented with good eats.

new new new!

So these past... hrmm 2 weeks have been full of new things. My family's cell phone plan was up so we went to Verizon to get a new plan along with some new phones... =D I got pick my new phone (since i was paying for it u_u) but I think so far I'm satisfied with my LG VX6100. Only rip I have about it is that the hindge of the clam doesn't seem sturdy. It moves a little. Actually, the first phone that the store gave me, the two halves moved quite a bit, I asked for anotehr one and it felt fine, but after a day, of not using it, it still managed to feel loose. Meh, pray for the best.

Next, this past weekend I went to get some contacts... Now normally, I feel pretty fine with glasses and didn't like the idea of having to peel my eye open to get contacts in, but it has been a topic that's been on my mind for a long time. I know it'd help a lot more with playing my basketball so that's a plus. It had also been a while since my last eye exam, so I figured it was time to go. Now, I'm 1 for 2 attempts at putting on these things(on my own)... u_u Not counting the time I took forever at the office. It took me a bloody 20 minutes to just fit one in. I don't really have any feelings about em yet since I've only worn them twice. Although I'm very irritated because my left eye's peripheral vision is really blurry. Not to mention I kinda seen double for a seconds before I focus. The doc said he gave me some "new technology" that's supposed to help my stigmatism but I think it's just making my left eye blurry so that I don't see as well. He's trying to swindle me with some "new technology" that he won't even tell me what exactly it's doing. @_@ Anyway, you may or may not see me w/ them depending on how awake, how insensitive my eye feels, or how lazy I am that day.
