FOOD REVIEWS!!!

Ok, so I've suddenly decided to start reviewing maybe a few new places I've eaten at. Figure this may be a way for me to speak my mind about something random.

First up... The Skillet; the Airstream Trailer.

This little trailer restaurant is known to move around different locations in Seattle and serve some of the most gourmet food in a fast food box. Their menu is usually limited, but everything sounds tasty. When you initially walk up to the "decrepit, metallic looking trailer that belongs in a trailer park down south". You start to wonder how any good food could be made here. But then you read the menu and see stuff like, burgers with arugula and cambazola, panini's, thom kah soup, and poutine... that doesn't sound like your typical fast food does it? Nope. Ladies and gents, prepare to get your tongue tickled.

On my first visit, I decided to go with "The Burger". Special grass fed beef (i can't really tell the difference), cambazola, arugula, brioche, and BACON JAM. Yes, you read that correctly. Someone in this world as invented bacon jam. It sounds really weird, but once you've taken a bite out of this burger, you're a believer. It doesn't matter how they made it. It made the burger taste that much better. Because when that burger first comes, I'll be honest, it doesn't look very impressive. But I finished the thing within 10 minutes (I didn't have anything to wash it down, so it took me a little longer). Also served with the burger are some of the best handcut fries I've had. Unfortunately I haven't tried anything else yet so this is it. The only downfall to the burger was that it was a bit on the heavy/fatty side. But I mean, bacon jam... what did you expect. Go for the food.

If you're interested in hunting down this bistro of a trailer, check here http://skilletstreetfood.com/ to see where they'll be next. Note the hours as they do not stay in the same location forever. Definitely worth checking out if you want some "higher class fast food" lol.

Service: 4

Food: 4.5

Environment: 2 (you get the food on the street, it's up to you to figure out the rest, but it gets a 2 for being creative with the whole different-location-every-day idea)
