Back again

As relaxing as spring break was, it's already over and the first week of school is almost over as well. I didn't do everything on my random list of stuff to keep me busy, but I did manage to keep relatively busy throughout the week. Lets see... I ate at Sushiland, something I've been wanting to do forever, bought that new backpack, went to the IMA twice, hung out with friends a few times, saw a few old chinese movies and watched a few on TV... Did some other stuff, but I can't remember now.

You know what's bothersome, when you want something, and it just always seems to elude you. You also know what's bothersome, when you have to register for classes... u_u;; Combine the two and you probably can feel more frustrated than Porky Pig trying to say "fuck it, I'm not doing this shit anymore" in less than 2 minutes. So for ochem, we have to go to this office on the third floor of Bagley, located back, way back, where no one knows this place even existed, just to add a lab class or drop one if we want. I must have gone there at least 10 times this week to get into an earlier class, because at the time I was stuck in Tues/Thurs 630-930 time slot. Lovely, no? I managed to get into a 330-630, but 630 is right during rush-hour, as I learned today, and it's not fun to sit in that traffic, especially when it's raining. And to top off the anxiety/frustration/utter bitterness at the world, I'm looking at the time schedule right now for lab sections, and the one I want is open. And I can't do jack about it b/c I have to be at that friggin office located in the craphole Bagley, which is not even open right now. I could go to school hella early even though I don't have to, to try and get in but alas, maybe this 330-630 is not so bad. I get to stay on campus a little longer instead of do nothing at home. (This is b/c I actually get stuff done at school; at home I kinda just sit around twiddling my big toes) My current TA seems like a cool guy too which is a plus. Eh, I will have to make a mental pro-con list for both sections in my head later... At the moment I will have to find a way to relax and not get any more worked up that I already am.

One main reason for me not seeing a movie last week, was because there didn't seem to be any movie that appealed to me except for Robots, and maybe Hitch. meh, I missed my chance I guess. Oh, interesting thing that also happened over break, I went to go test drive the tC with my cousin, Fred. We, well actually he, had originally planned to go and check out an MR Spyder but they didn't have any on the lot. The sales rep recommended the tC as an alternative because it was the main car that the company was promoting now. So we took it for a spin around Bellevue for about 10 minutes. The car sucked. Felt weak as hell. No torque at all, even to haul it's tiny metal ass up a hill. For a car that claims that it can beat the Civic Si stock, the Civic Si must be tremendously overrated. The only reason I can see for it's popularity would be customization options for the car. (the Si I mean) The interior of the tC was nothing special, it took a few ques from other current cars and had a simple design, but it wasn't that attractive. Seats were surprisingly uncomfortable and there is no way that more than 2 adults could fit in there nicely. I'd actually consider getting a used celica before that car. And I'm not that big of a fan of the celica either. We also went out to check out the lexus dealership, and I think I've fallen for the TL. Man that is such a sweet car. I didn't dare as to test drive it though, even though my cousin said he had before. I just felt awkward going into a Lexus dealership asking. Yes, Lexus is decently high on my list of respectable cars. Anyway, my day will come, I don't mind waiting a little longer. (this is how I make myself feel better, by reassuring myself that I'll get a new car someday... =/) Anyway, I 've run out of juice (in both senses), so I'm done for now.
