back in school

So after the third day of school... I know it should not be new news to me, but each year just gets harder u_u;; The subject I loathe the most, ever since the second quarter of general chemister, thermodynamics, has come to haunt me again in TWO of my classes. Those are bioc 440 and phys 115. Phys 115 is also a downer. After coming off a pretty easy quarter of 114, 115 seems head and heels over what was in 114. We don't get a 0.2 extra add-on for participation with our colorful remote controls. 90% of our grade comes from the exams. GREEAAATTT..... To add more dry wood to my already fiery schedule this year, of my chinese class, that will probably stick with me for the entire series and thus entire year, half appears to already be fluent in mandarin... T_T; Why me... why have I been dealt this apparently harsh blow this year?

To note some good things this quarter, my bioc professor seems really cool and enlightening. Unfortunately the class is 830 in the friggin morning so I just pray that I can stay awake to listen to her. My phys teacher also has one of the odd-est, yet cool accents I have ever heard. He's like a mesh of the ikea guy and robin williams doing a russian accent. I'd like to invite anyone who can to attend a session JUST to hear this guy talk, definately will make your day. I feel like I've just shot back in time to when I was a wee toddler in elementary school, when I go to chinese class. I recall very, very vaguely my old days of attending chinese school and the totalitarian teachers that reigned with an iron fist in class, making us repeat everything after her and making us write characters like there was no tomorrow. Class is pretty dry, but I'm learning something, which mean something right? Hey, if you know mandarin, talk to me. =) I need the practice. Don't bust out tough vocabulary on me though because I'm still very unseasoned with the language.

My overall schedule is not bad. Everything except for starting at 830, is pretty nice. I end at 130 everyday except for wed, when I have lab, which ends at 330. I have a break 1030-1230 everyday as well so if anyone's up for grabbing lunch around 1130, give me a ring.

Goals for this quarter:

- Study like hell. I can't let my grades fall anymore >_<

- Meet more new people; make more friends =D

- Attend more school events like those of CSA, HKSA... etc whatever

- Go to the IMA a few times

- sleep more!!!

I really didn't have many goals in mind, but those are fine. I was just so bored at home, that I decided to write something like that. =/ Well time to get off and find something to do.
