9 more days...

It's almost over, yet I don't quite feel good about the quarter coming to an end. I like my schedule now and my classes aren't that bad. OK, maybe that's a lie, bioc is starting to kick my ass and the same with physics. Chinese, the class that I thought I was done for, turned out to be my easy class. I won't say anymore lest I want to jinx myself and completely screw myself over.

The holiday season can't come soon enough. Why? Because this is the time of year where everyone just seems a little happier, a little more easy going, and a little more red in the face that isn't due to intoxication. (I couldn't think of a third thing just then, so I just made something up) Last week before Thanksgiving, I had two encounters with obnoxious people... One of which may have been... possibally questionable, but still bothersome. The first was really odd, I was just walking down the street with my friend to pho, and I happened to be talking on the phone. It's just two of us, and we're not that fat, so there's plenty of room on the street. Then randomly this shorter than me guy just plows through me w/o hesitation and mutters something that wasn't very friendly. I resisted the urge to lash back since I was on the phone and in the company of other people, but that was by far the rudest person I've met in a while. He couldn't take a step over and bypass me where there was plenty of space. O well, don't sweat the small stuff.

As for the second encounter, I was playing bball at the IMA with a random group of people. I made a huge block on some guy on the first play, and I guess it kinda set the tone of the game, because after that all of the people on the other team started getting really angry or something. The guy defending me wouldn't get off and was playing pretty dirty. It was really tough to swallow that 1 point loss to them... My team wasn't the greatest, but these kind of things happen when you play pickup games. It's not always a perfect game.

Well, I just kinda wanted to vent that much out now, but I should get back to work. It feels better after putting that out.
