random update
Hrm it seems there has been a lot that has happened since my last update... Lets see, I guess the biggest news would be that I finally made it into UW Dental School! That is such a huge relief and goal that I've reached. I'm so much happier and more relaxed these days. One concern that I have is that I hope my friends all end up going to UW too. I think it would make dental school that much more enjoyable and endurable.
This quarter has been awful so far, academically-wise. I've lost all motivation to study in school and I just want to make up for lost sleep. Pchem is hard as hell and I don't want to study it even though it's required for my major. Accounting is interesting I guess... but there are a lot of terms to remember and memorize what they mean. I have to read the epic textbook-length novel War and Peace for my C Lit class and that's not fun at all. I'm only taking it b/c it satisfies both VLPA and writing requirements. Good deal, I hope. Music 185 has been boring so far and nothing special. Maybe I should've taken a different music class... nah lol. I just hope to survive this quarter w/o hurting my grades too much... *aahhh i'm afraid*
Oooh, the Whistler trip this past 3 day weekend was AWESOME!!! I spent some quality times with GREAT FRIENDS. (except for those who made me puke, i hate u guys -_-) The snow was amazing. Fresh powder and very little ice near the top/middle of the mountain was just as awesome as it was last year. I'm pretty sure I've figured out carving now so I can go down the mountain pretty quick. It took me a day to remember what snowboarding was since I had only did it once last year, but by the second day I was cruising. Shoutout to all the people who I spent time w/ up there... J9, Xiao, Kim, Raz, Zhu, Taj, Clayton, and Eric. It was fun up there guys. Gotta chill again sometime. I want to go snowboarding again >_< WHY DOES SCHOOL ALWAYS HAVE TO GET IN THE WAY OF THINGS... =P
