My 2 cents

ok quick entry... about the NBA deal. THE WHOLE ASSOCIATION IS REALLY PISSING ME OFF. I guess it started with Gary Payton being traded away. Gradually, my hate for the NBA grew more and more. Watching Ray Allen do wonders for our team was good though. Probably the only good. After getting mad at the GP trade, I watched the games with Seattle against Mav's and that's when I really started getting pissed. The one game that Seattle needed to win to have a chance at that playoff spot. So we start out ok, pretty close game the entire time. When we get to the third quarter, that asshole Bradley (center) elbows Reshard Lewis in the head!!! And no foul was called!!! That's so much BS. Lewis was down for like 3 minutes before he was walked off and the game just went on with him lying on the ground. WTF is with that? And then later as the game went on and Lewis eventually returned only to get a technical, and then ejected from the game @_@. One other Mav's player got ejected for getting into a fight with Lewis though. A couple more technicals were given and yea... talk about the NBA getting hella messed up. After that, I was rooting for the Kings. Too bad that became short-lived when C-Webber got frickin injured in one of the most messed looking fashion ever. Piss me off... And now I'm rooting for the Spurs to kick NJ's ass. Net's playing fashion except for Jason Kidd disgusts me, along with others who fit this description. They aren't playing basketball. I mean since when can you stand in front of someone and wait for the ball to come in front of you and rip it away while making the MOST OBVIOUS CONTACT IN THE WORLD. I mean Kenyon Martin was just grabbing at Tim Duncan the entire night and getting steals that should've been fouls. And when Tim Duncan did it once to him, he got called for a stupid foul. That's hella messed up. In my mind, basketball is supposed to remain a finesse sport with some contact and to a certain degree. If there was a referee from back when MJ was still playing in his prime, I would not doubt for a moment that the entire Nets team would foul out, just for reaching in. Not even including shooting fouls or rebounding fouls. It disgusts me that basketball has turned into such a barbaric sport where everyone just literally fight to get the ball and the STUPID REFEREES MAKE THE DUMBEST CALLS EVER. Gosh, I guess you'd have to watch part of a game with me to really understand me, b/c I'm basically just venting on what I dislike about the NBA now. My dad has opposing opinions wiht me, saying that that's "East Coast basketball" and I dunno what them New Jersians do in basketball but that's not what the West Coast is about. There's a reason the West Coast has been superior the past couple years. On the other hand, my dad also thinks that it's all drama in the NBA and that the referees are in bets and illegal gambling since a lot of people are supposedly betting on the Nets to win this year. O well, I hope next year will be a better season with LeBron James~~!!! <~~ (this kid (literally a highschool kid) is da new sh*t of bball)
