Well, the first week of college was interesting... (I like to start vague, that's right.) Nothing that took much adjusting I guess. The big classes don't bother me too much at the moment. I know they will eventually when I need to ask questions and my TA's are going to be too busy or lazy to helpe at all. Then I'll be screwed. Finding buildings the first time was a little hassle. Now I know how to plan my time to get from one place to another. So far I'm don't really like many of my prof's cuz they lecture pretty boring or they have tough accents that I have to decifer. Except for my Chem prof, who I think is at least trying to keep us awake by giving us random videos and experiments to watch him do in his lectures. The loud noises will keep me awake =X Chem lecture has 500 people >_< THat's crazy... Math has 80, but the prof sucks. He's boring as hell and doesn't even lecture about what we're doing in our hw... @_@ He's off lecturing about sinusoidals when we're finding tangents of circles... Philosophy can be interesting I guess. The discussions are interestng but if it's just the prof lecturing... expect to find me unconsious. =P

I've been seeing a lot of MI people around campus and in my classes which is cool. It's really intimidating to talk to people who are already in groups, which also makes it a bit hard to know more people. I've met a few new people, but not enough for study groups... Then again even if I did find a study group, the odds of being able to form one in the morning when I'm on campus is fairly unlikely. I'd have to go back at night and look for parking and such. Yet another disadvantage of living at home... It'd be a bitch just to go to a CLUE study session. Well I'll have to try to find some other way.

Food is ok at the U. The Hub has crazy long lines for everything except for pizza. (Pizza is good, but usually it's the same thing and it gets old fast) The asian food there is also bad. By George doesn't have good food, for the crazy prices they have. One of these days I'll have to try and eat at Macmahon and the Ave. Hopefully it won't take as long as it seems far.

It feels like almost every asian you meet at the UW is part of some sort of Asian Religious group and trying to convince you to join it. I'm not against religion, I'm Christian, but I'm not exactly the type to go to religious fellowships for fun. Meet people, maybe, but I don't really want to be going to a place to meet people where people will be saying stuff like "Hey, I forgot my bible. Can share with you and praise the lord that I forgot my bible?" Ok, stupid, but that's not the point. There are like 3 different korean studen assocations, probably about 5 chinese ones, and probably more with the massive # of indonesians and vietnamese here. Well, I hope that the seemingly huge asian population will open up more people who aren't necessarily part of some religious sect. (sorry if i sounded a little rude, no intention of doing so) Time to eat... phood...
